Writers' Confessions is a witty, poignant, humorous and educational fast-paced series about writers and the art of writing. Over twenty writers per episode talk about a variety of topics. Writers' Confessionstakes the viewer into writers’ homes and studios, - we see them inbookstores, at readings, and in their favorite cafes. We meet with themon farms, in cities, on beaches and in the woods. It is engaging fromthe first image to the final credits.

The Writers’ Confessions series has featured over 180 writers in various stages of their careers who all have the following in common: they are engaging, enlightening, and entertaining. 

In the first four seasons, the Canadian writers that have been featured include: Camilla Gibb, Michael Crummy, Guy VanderHaeghe, Tim Lilborne, Stephanie Bolster, Miriam Toews, Joseph Boyden, Alistair MacLeod, Shauna Singh Baldwin, Sheila Heti, Karen Connelly, Barry Callaghan, and many more.  These writers have won a plethora of awards: Governor General, Trillium, Giller, Booker, etc. Some of the international writers featured on the show include Richard Ford, Isabel Allende, Colm Toiban, John Sayles, Margaret Drabble, Ian Rankin, Russell Banks, Anita Desai, Melissa Bank, Nadeem Aslam, Ralph Steadman, and Kiran Desai. 

We are fortunate that during the course of the nine years we have been making shows on and about writers we have created strong relationships with publishing houses, authors’ festivals, and, of course, the writers themselves.  Writers' Confessions is a dynamic, engaging, and entertaining series on writing where writers provide candid information on all aspects of their craft and their lives.
