TickleScratch Productions is a film and television production company based in Toronto that evolved out of the documentary and dramatic work of producer/director Michael Glassbourg. Having worked in both theatre and film, Michael first started producing the series The Writing Life in the late 90's. The series was picked up by several networks such as; Knowledge Network, Book TV, SCN, TVO and Bravo! Subsequently, Michael created two more series (The Artist's Life and Writers' Confessions) while also producing the documentaries Wayson Choy: Unfolding The Butterfly (secrets & memories), "Elvii" - More Than One Elvis, and Policy Baby: The Journey Of Rita/Bev. During the past ten years, Michael Glassbourg and TickleScratch Productions have produced over 160 programs for broadcast.
