Policy Baby: The Journey of Rita, TickleScratch's most recent documentary, had its world premiere at DOXA in Vancouver B.C, and also screened at the Yorkton Short Film Festival. The film tells the story of two cultures, two histories, and of a woman who threads a pathway to healing across extremely unstable ground.

Writers' Confessions (Bravo!, 8:30) is back with more episodes of brief interviews with writers, built around specific questions about the writing racket. The first episode deals with being unpublished and then a published writer.The writers are from all over the place, though many are Canadian.Tonight, among others, they include Paul Quarrington, Giles Blunt, Nino Ricci and Isabel Allende. It is Allende who says, perhaps, the most reassuring thing: “I've been writing for 25 years and I know some skills. I know how not to repeat the same mistakes, which doesn't mean that I can't invent new ones, which I do all the time.” Later episodes feature Elizabeth Hay, Michael Crummey, Amy Bloom and some Doyle content.
